Like all good Romantic [that’s with a capital “R” as in Romanticism (1800 – 1850)] stories begin in the middle, they back up, for a good start, to the beginning.
This blog has been a work in progress in my brain since January 2019.
In the fall of 2018, my husband, Warren, found an idyllic place on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. Only ninety miles away from our home on the North Shore of Chicago, it provided an ideal 90 minute commute. It had an abundance of Peace from the very first time we set eyes on it.
Fast forward eighteen months and the world has turned upside down. COVID-19, social distancing, our office, our company, our family. I’m finally putting pen to paper and actually writing in the blog I set up some time long ago. I hope you’ll find joy, laughter, and peace in the musings I plan to capture here.
And the real reason I’ve finally gotten it together and begun this evening?
Because I miss my mom.
